My love for Indian dance began in childhood and has been an inseparable part of my life ever since. I started learning Kathak in 2011 and continued my journey until 2023, earning a Senior Diploma—popularly known as Kathak Visharad—through dedicated practice and examinations. Over the years, I have performed at countless ceremonies, functions, and competitions, carrying the elegance, grace, and poise that only years of Indian classical dance training can bring.
Beyond Kathak, I have embraced the beauty of India’s diverse folk dance traditions—Kashmiri Rouf, Uttarakhandi Kumaoni, Gujarati Garba and Dandiya, Rajasthani Kalbeliya and Ghoomar, Maharashtrian Lezim and Lavani, Haryanvi, Punjabi Bhangra and Gidda, Assamese Bihu, and Sambalpuri. The fluidity, strength, and storytelling in each form have not only shaped my artistic expression but have also deepened my connection to India’s rich cultural heritage, keeping me rooted in its timeless traditions.
